Risk Context
Purpose: Anchor the brand in why the risk matters.
Content rules:
Focus on hazard type and child development stage.
May reference well-established public health knowledge.
Avoid precise statistics unless sourced and necessary.
Example structure:
Risks related to [hazard] are most prevalent among children aged [range] due to [developmental behaviors]. Without appropriate safeguards, these risks can result in serious injury or harm.
Safety Use Cases
Purpose: Explain when products in this category are appropriate.
Content rules:
Bullet list.
Situational, not exhaustive.
No urgency or fear-based language.
Example structure:
Homes with stair access or elevation changes
Areas containing hazardous materials or sharp objects
Environments where supervision may be intermittent
Product Categories Offered
Purpose: Organize understanding without listing SKUs.
Content rules:
Group by function or hazard, not by product name.
Neutral taxonomy.
Example structure:
Gates and physical barriers
Locks and access restrictors
Environmental warning or identification tools
Common Misuse or Limitations
Purpose: Reduce false confidence and misuse.
Content rules:
Calm, instructional tone.
Frame as “considerations,” not warnings.
Example structure:
These products are most effective when installed and maintained according to manufacturer guidance. They are not a substitute for supervision and should be reassessed as a child’s mobility and behavior change.
Developmental Considerations
Purpose: Reinforce child-centered safety thinking.
Content rules:
Tie product relevance to child growth.
Avoid absolutes.
Example structure:
Safety needs evolve rapidly as children progress from crawling to climbing. Products appropriate for infants may require adjustment or replacement for toddlers and preschool-aged children.
Access Note (Affiliate Disclosure)
Purpose: Maintain transparency without disrupting flow.
Content rules:
Single sentence.
Clearly separates CSI from commerce.
